CANAVAN SCENIC & LIGHT ACCOMMODATES GROWTH WITH MOVE TO LARGER FACILITY

Orlando FL (May 1, 2007)–Canavan Scenic & Light, Inc. (CS&L), a leading provider of scenery and lighting services for business meetings and trade shows, has moved to a new 8,000 square foot facility located at 6115 Cyril Avenue in Orlando.

The move was necessary to house CS&L's expanding inventory and to provide additional office space to accommodate its growing staff. The new facility includes dedicated quadrants for fabrication and painting, three loading docks to facilitate simultaneous loading and unloading, and partitions which isolate construction dust and dirt to protect the rental inventory.

Michael Canavan, President. (MikeC@CSandL.com) Mike became involved in the technical side of theater in high school. By the time he was a junior, he had his own set of keys and set up every event which took place in the auditorium.

After earning a BFA in Lighting Design and Technical Production from the North Carolina School of Arts in 1985, Mike spent the next eleven years working on literally hundreds of live events in North Carolina, Washington D.C. and New York City.

As Mike worked on those events, he noticed that the producer's vision and expectations were not always met by what the show supplier arrived with onsite-which often forced the crew to scramble. He recognized this as an opportunity-not just to do a better job-but to save clients money. So he founded Canavan Scenic & Light, Inc.

Since 1996, CS&L has supported clients on hundreds of shows all over this country and around the world. When asked to identify the reason for CS&L's success, Mike says: "Our job is simply to ask our clients what they want-then give it to them. It is a remarkably simple formula that works!"

In between show, Mike likes to play with his two children, see other peoples shows and play golf. Recently, Mike and his wife Cindy have taken up tennis.
