Scenic & Light, Inc. is proud to introduce a new business meeting
set for the new challenges we face in today’s economy. There is increased frugality and a desire for less
opulent productions while the desire for quality is still very much
present.
With this
new reality clearly in mind, we developed the following list of
design criteria that are extremely cost conscious. We started with
these logistical needs and then developed a stage set to fulfill
that mission.
The first
idea is that the set will be packaged so it can be shipped by common
carrier. This will allow a production company operating outside of
Orlando to offer this set at a very reasonable cost to their clients
regardless of the distance from our shop.
Second, the
set packs easily into one road case that is quite compact for
the size of the set. The approximate measurements of
the shipping container is 12’ 2” long x 29" wide x 33" tall.
Third,
since this set is reusable it is very GREEN. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle are major
drivers of this creative. An additional idea is to use low wattage,
high output, LED lighting to make the set come alive while
continuing to protect the environment and the budget.
Fourth, this
set is to have a maximum height of 12’ to be able to fit into the
greatest number of venues as well as to be shipped most efficiently.
Fifth, this
set is designed to have a 1, 2 or 3 screen architecture. It is also
modular and can fit comfortably on a 24’, 32’, 40’ and 48’ stage.
Lastly, it
is very cost effective to rent;
For
events in Orlando, we can deliver, set-up and dismantle up to
32' wide for
$5000 per wk.
For
events in Miami + Naples, we can deliver, set-up and dismantle up to 32'
wide for
$6500 per wk. For events in
Central Florida, we can deliver, set-up and dismantle up to 32' wide for $5500 per
week.
For events
outside of Florida we can do a dock rental up to 32' wide for $4250.00 per week
plus freight.
For The
Jefferson Podiums please add $250 each.
For The Serpentine Package (2 reversed curved walls) please add
$500.
For The Expander Package (2 additional columns and 1 more curved
wall.) please add $1,000.
These are
very aggressive prices for a hard set, but we feel the system we
have designed can support the quality corporate meetings demand,
while keeping the cost under control.
