What is WYSIWYG? What can WYSIWYG do for you?
First WYSIWYG is a complete lighting program. It assists
with the light plot and light schedules. It creates paperwork to organize,
prepare and load-in the show.

But beyond this pedestrian feat, WYSIWYG is a 3-D simulation
world. We can plug our GrandMA moving light console into it and actually
start programming a show or a sequence from a show.

What does this mean to a
Producer?
With a moving light controller and WYSIWYG, a lighting
designer invests time in the shop organizing the moving light controller
(i.e. building the patch, building the pallets, setting preliminary
positions) which saves considerable time on site. Ultimately the value in
this technology is in reducing setup and cueing time on site, while still
delivering a very high quality show.

To further utilize the advantages of this technology, if there are
known sequences, for instance an opening video, we can program lighting
cues to the actual time code of the video, thereby playing it back in
perfect synchronization.
